Regular customers also include a gangster named Leopard Brother, who, facing a midlife crisis, prefers to talk about love rather than business. However, his younger brother Ah Hong (played by Ke Yulun) is eager to prove himself and plans to pull off a big job. Finally, he gets his chance. Leopard Brother's partner left a batch of goods in the shrine. With the police (played by Zhang Xiaquan) keeping watch, they cannot move. To get the goods, Leopard Brother promises to sponsor Xiao Kai's trip to Paris and entrusts the matter to him. But Ah Hong decides to act on his own. Thus, a game of "the mantis catching the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind" begins... This film won the Best Asian Film Award at the Berlin International Film Festival.
