Young man Kousuke Okuda (played by Jun Matsumoto), who works at an advertising agency, follows his senior to visit a client. Unbeknownst to him, he unexpectedly reunites with his first love from his youth, Mao Tsukai (played by Juri Ueno), at the client's company. Ten years ago, Kousuke (played by Takumi Kitamura) was studying at Enoshima, where Mao (played by Kanako Kishi), a girl with a cute appearance but lacking in intelligence and physical coordination, transferred into his class. When Mao was being bullied, Kousuke stepped in to help her. From then on, they studied together, chatted, and even shared a kiss, and their youthful love blossomed under the sun until Kousuke moved away suddenly. The ten years that passed did not sever the connection between Kousuke and Mao. Their love reignites with renewed passion and warmth. They fall in love, marry, and everything seems to be heading toward a happy future. However, Mao's health suddenly begins to deteriorate rapidly.
