The story takes place at Dreamyoshikai Academy, a private school where students are all boys aiming to become idols. Among them are four boys with distinct personalities who form the idol group "Trickstar" and train with great enthusiasm every day. Ice Tengu Hoshito (voiced by Keisuke Higuchi), who appears cold on the surface but has a gentle heart; Seiun Asahi (voiced by Tetsuya Katsura), who is carefree and has an infectious smile; Umaki Shin (voiced by Syutaro Morikubo), who looks stylish and carefree but blushes when talking to girls; and Igarashi Shunsu (voiced by Yuuki Kaji), who is extremely averse to trouble but always gets caught up in it. These four boys with contrasting personalities make up the group "Trickstar" and are full of energy as they train daily. At the academy, there is a competition called the Dream Festival, which determines the status and ranking of each idol group within the school.
