On the vast African savanna, animals plagued by drought patiently yet anxiously await the arrival of the floodwaters. This year's rainy season seems to be delayed, leaving the animals with a sense of unease. They could never have imagined that, not far away in the canyon, a dam had been erected by humans, intercepting the water that should have nourished the grasslands and all life. Meanwhile, the savanna welcomed a few rare visitors: a solitary polar bear, a chatty French chicken, a turtle couple who have shared over a hundred years of life together, an energetic kangaroo, and a flatulent laughing animal. They were all forced to leave their homes due to human recklessness and ignorance, seeking a haven free from human footprints. However, the situation on the African savanna is also far from optimistic. The animals from afar must join forces with their local animal friends to embark on a perilous journey in search of water...
