This work is set in Kyoto during the late Edo period, approximately 160 years ago, depicting the youthful tale of the Shinsengumi. In the turbulent Kyoto of the late Edo period, where frequent unrest was caused by the arrival of the Black Ships, the protagonist, always smiling, gentle, straightforward, and with a strong sense of justice, meets Tosa Tsuyoshi and Okita Soji of the "NinomiyaWave" (NinomiyaWave refers to a group or faction). This encounter becomes the catalyst for the protagonist to join them in pursuit of peace and justice. Alongside Saito Hajime and Tanaka Taro, they strive to create a better world. In an era where money, land, and even lives could be ruthlessly taken away, this is the story of their youthful and earnest quest for justice as they risk their lives to protect the people within the Shinsengumi.
