In this world, there exist strange entities with ever-changing forms, known as "Yumemai." Those who make it their profession to eliminate Yumemai are called "Isekai-shi." The protagonist of this work, Kenji Kanbara (voiced by KENN), appears to be an ordinary high school sophomore, but he is actually a "half-demon" born from the union of a human and a Yumemai. Possessing immortality, he encounters a girl named Kurumi Kurashima (voiced by Risa Taneda) on the rooftop of his school one evening, who is contemplating suicide. Surprisingly, the girl attacks him. It turns out that the seemingly ordinary, bespectacled new student is actually an Isekai-shi with the ability to manipulate blood. Kurumi's special abilities catch the attention of the prestigious Isekai-shi family, the Namasu clan. Kenji's classmate and fellow member of the Literature Club, Mitsu Namasu (voiced by Mairi Ogura), is the second daughter of the Namasu family. She warns Kenji to stay away from Kurumi. As Yumemai rampages, and a lone Isekai-shi and a rare half-demon walk the world, a bizarre fantasy story unfolds beyond the boundaries.
