In the mythological world of "Amawakuni," where eight million gods coexist alongside humanity, Arata becomes entangled in a revolution sparked by the Twelve Divine Sheaths, who wield the Sword Gods. Framed for the murder of the Secret Queen, Arata is swallowed by a forest and transported to another world (modern times). Meanwhile, a high school student named Hiroyuki Hinohara, betrayed by his friends and in despair, stumbles into the same otherworld. There, Hiroyuki inherits Arata's fate and becomes the successor to the Sword God "Tsukuyo." With the Secret Queen on the brink of death, the seals on the Sword Gods have been broken, and the Sheaths, who are the masters of the Sword Gods, engage in battles to become the Great King (Ōkimi). Furthermore, the enigmatic "Sixth Sheath" among the Twelve Sheaths begins to act to prevent the Secret Queen's revival. Amidst this chaos, Hiroyuki resolves to become the "Sun King" to save those caught in the Sheaths' battles and to save the Secret Queen. Using the power of "Tsukuyo," he unites all the Sword Gods and embarks on a journey to end the conflict. A crossworld fantasy where modern and mythological worlds intertwine!
