The blue-haired, talented girl, Asahina Ryōko (voiced by Kanako Misaki), has always lingered in Akito Akito's (voiced by Taiyō Nakamura) memories, refusing to fade away. In order to get closer to Ryōko, Akito, who has never undergone any training, joins the track club at school. However, upon joining the club, Akito's exceptional abilities leave everyone impressed, except for Ryōko, who remains silent about it. In Ryōko's eyes, all of this is just a ploy by Akito to capture her attention. Ryōko has a painful past when it comes to love, which causes her to maintain a cold attitude towards Akito's pursuit. However, as time passes and Akito repeatedly breaks his own sprint records, Ryōko gradually realizes that the once impulsive and reckless boy has grown into a trustworthy young man.
