Sakurino, who is from a rural area in Okayama, came to Tokyo with the dream of becoming an idol. However, instead of the glamorous city life she had imagined, she found herself in the equally rural area of Higashi-Koganei. There, she formed the idol group "Fruit Tower" with her fellow agency members: the unpopular child actor Ruri Sekino, the unpopular musician Haruaki Kanai, and the unpopular model Jinro Maehara. But immediately, they faced the crisis of their dormitory being demolished. To save the dormitory, they decided to take on the challenge of the "Overflowing Fruit Tower" project, proposed by their manager, Haruka Kajino.
