One day, the mysterious invader, Ilos, descended upon Earth, wreaking havoc and causing chaos across the globe. At this critical moment, 18 girls known as the "Star Guardians" stepped forward, risking their lives to fight for the restoration of human peace. These 18 girls were chosen by the divine tree, "Shinto," and were granted "Star Garments" by the tree, endowing them with special powers. Naive and cheerful Seiya Bishiki (voiced by Ayaka Suo), gentle, mature, and considerate Haruka Narumi (voiced by Ami Koyama), carefree and energetic Moe Taneda (voiced by Ona Higashiyama), idol-like Hana Kurosaki (voiced by Funa Honjou), and the curvaceous and adult-like Renka Serizawa (voiced by Aino Minase) are among these girls. They see reclaiming the polluted earth as their sole mission.
