During Emperor's inspection of the sea, Crown Prince Jianwen personally witnessed Admiral Zheng suddenly committing regicide, only to be falsely accused by the court of patricide and usurpation of the throne. In a state of panic, Jianwen fled back to Quanzhou aboard the divine ship Qinglong, intending to return to Nanjing to seek help from his uncle, Prince Yan. Admiral Zheng, upon receiving the order from the acting emperor Prince Yan, returned to Quanzhou to apprehend Jianwen. After Jianwen uncovered the truth, he embarked on a journey southward from Quanzhou. Along the way, Jianwen met with Japanese ninja Shili, Mongol naval commander Tengges, and naturalist Harold from Portugal. The four formed a deep friendship during their adventures and prepared for an escape journey targeting the largest pirate base on the mythical Penglai Island in the South China Sea, aiming to uncover the truth behind Admiral Zheng's regicide. Meanwhile, various factions inside and outside the court were stirring with intent. How will Admiral Zheng continue to protect Jianwen, who is increasingly misunderstanding him, and investigate the truth behind the emperor's demonic transformation under such conditions?
