Ryō Tomiko (voiced by Rina Satou) has parents who are both working overseas, and her grandmother, who she lives with, unfortunately passes away. At a young age, Ryō is forced to begin living alone. Not long after, Ryō discovers that her cooking skills have declined, which makes her feel guilty for not practicing as promised to her grandmother. One day, by chance, Ryō meets a girl named Kirin Morino (voiced by Asuka Ōkame), who loves drawing and dreams of attending an art school in Tokyo. Entrusted by an aunt who has always taken care of her, Kirin stays at Ryō's house every Saturday. With another person in the house, the meals somehow taste better, and Ryō realizes that her cooking skills haven't actually deteriorated. Later, Ryō meets Shizuka Shiina (voiced by Mikako Komatsu), a wealthy young lady, and another culinary enthusiast joins the table!
