Fair Inukai, a high school math teacher voiced by Yuichi Nakamura, is left to raise his five-year-old daughter, Saki Inukai, voiced by Rinna Endo, after the death of his wife. Kind and responsible, Fair carefully nurtures his daughter, but he struggles with cooking, so the father-daughter duo relies on takeout for their meals. One day, while taking Saki to see flowers, Fair encounters one of his students, Tomoko Iida, voiced by Saori Hayami, and learns that Tomoko's mother runs a restaurant. Fair decides to take Saki to the restaurant, only to find that the only person there is Tomoko herself, who is also not skilled in cooking. Tomoko then decides to take over the kitchen and cook for them, eventually leading to the three of them cooking together. Thus begins a heartwarming and joyful culinary story that unfolds between the dining table and the kitchen.
