To cultivate the strikers who would lead Japan to victory in the World Cup, the Japan Football Association launched the "Blue Lock (Blue Prison)" program. Three hundred high school students were invited to participate, all of whom were forwards (FW). In an extreme situation where elimination meant losing the chance to join the Japanese national football team, the raw talents selected gradually awakened their ego as strikers. Among them, 35 individuals survived the rigorous selection process, sometimes knocking others out and at other times relying on their own evolution to endure.
