Shrek lives in an ordinary world - he is an unattractive monster himself, with a green body, an odd temperament, and a lazy, unkempt lifestyle. One day, a few unexpected visitors arrive at his house, telling Shrek that they come from a kingdom ruled by a cruel king, and they are now homeless. Moreover, the ruthless king has abducted a stunning princess and plans to forcibly marry her. Although Shrek is ugly, he has a kind heart. Under the pressure of the lord, he reluctantly goes to rescue the princess, also hoping to catch a glimpse of her beauty. On the way, he meets a talkative donkey who, upon learning of Shrek's story, decides to faithfully serve him. Ahead, a fire-breathing dragon awaits to fight them. Can they overcome the difficulties and perform a perfect fairy tale of a hero rescuing a beauty?
