October 31, 2095. An unobserved strategic-level magic annihilated the military city and fleet at the southern tip of the Korean Peninsula. From that day forward, known as "Fiery Halloween," the world was shaken by the emergence of a new strategic-level magician. Among them, the North American Union of States (USNA), which boasts the "World's Strongest Magical Force" STARS, felt an increasingly intense sense of crisis. To uncover the unobserved strategic-level magic and the true identity of the magician who wielded it, the USNA was actively taking covert actions. Approximately two months later, on December 24. As the city became lively with Christmas decorations and lights, Daisuke and others gathered at Enniblisse to see off Shizuku, who was preparing to go to the United States for an exchange student program. Shizuku's stay in the United States would be for three months. According to Shizuku, the girl who would be exchanged to First High School with her is a girl of the same age. Meanwhile, at the USNA's STARS base, a young girl was preparing to infiltrate First High School for covert investigation. Her name was Angelina Kudo Shields. As the youngest ever commander of STARS, she was the USNA's strongest magician, manipulating the strategic-level magic Heavy Metal Burst.
