Video information
Yurari (voiced by Erika Hishida) is an ordinary 16-year-old high school girl. Her mother (voiced by Naifu Toda) left her at a young age, and now, Yurari lives with her father (voiced by Nampu Osawa), relying on each other. One day, Yurari visits a shrine in Musashino alone, a place that holds her childhood memories. However, to her surprise, she discovers a fox (voiced by Mizuki Zecchi) carrying something. Following the fox's footsteps, Yurari is transported to a parallel world called "Discarded Island," which is filled with discarded garbage and waste left behind by humans. On this island, Yurari reunites with the fox, and she hopes the fox can help her retrieve a mirror that her mother once gave her. Reluctantly, the two set off on their journey. Discarded Island is forbidden for humans to enter, so Yurari must search for the mirror while also hiding her presence. However, her whereabouts are eventually discovered by a baron.
