Video information
Hajime Yamaoka (voiced by Shun'ya Kan), the former heir of Yamaoka's house, abandoned his family's business due to his fascination with strange tales and became a traveling writer, collecting various ghost stories to write *Kobutori Hyaku Monogatari*. On a rainy night, he encountered a mysterious trio: Yushi, a master of deception (voiced by Takashi Nakao), Agin, a puppeteer (voiced by Sayaka Kobayashi), and Choumimi, an imitator skilled in bird calls (voiced by Norio Wakamoto). Their movements are elusive, appearing and disappearing at will, and wherever they go, mysterious and eerie supernatural events seem to follow. By chance, Hajime joins them and ventures into the dark world, witnessing a series of bizarre events. These ghost stories provide the material for his *Hyaku Monogatari*. Among the events he experiences, the ghosts are often the twisted forms of human nature from everyday life. The trio uses their unique methods to expose the sins of human nature to the world.
