A group of old friends is about to embark on a new journey. While the woolly mammoth Manny is immersed in the joy of becoming a father, the saber-toothed tiger Diego is saddened by his gradual aging. At the same time, the sloth Sid discovers three dinosaur eggs and, surprisingly, feels an overwhelming sense of "motherly love," wanting to be the mother of the three baby T-Rexes. However, he is kidnapped by the real mother, a T-Rex. In order to find their companions, a group of adorable animal friends enters the "Jurassic Park" hidden beneath the Ice Age. In this magical place, what new friends will they meet, and what dangers will they encounter? This has left all the "Ice Age" fans eagerly anticipating. As the first 3D animated film to be released on a large scale by 20th Century Fox, its production cost reached $120 million, almost twice that of *Ice Age: The Meltdown*.
