"I guess I can live after all." Fran, who has zero ability scores, is inexplicably selected for the hero squad. The only thing she possesses is an inexplicable ability called "Reverse." As expected, it's completely useless in battle, but she doesn't give up and continues to contribute to the team with determination. However, Gien, a renowned genius sage within the team, finds her irritating and constantly picks on her. Eventually, he even forcibly sells her to a slave merchant. Fran, who suffers endless torment within the slave merchant's establishment, one day is about to become a monster's meal for entertainment purposes. But unexpectedly, when she raises the so-called "Curse Greatsword," which is said to melt the body upon being touched, her life takes a drastic turn.
