Video information
Usagi Tsukino (voiced by Kotono Mitsuishi), a beautiful and cute girl in junior high school, is an average student with a somewhat spoiled and weak personality, blending in with the ordinary girls living in the big city. However, her life is turned upside down after meeting Luna, a talking cat. She discovers she can transform into Sailor Moon, a warrior with magical powers, and gradually learns about her past and present life. To protect the Earth and thwart the ambitions of the Dark Kingdom, Usagi joins forces with other girls—Rei Hino (voiced by Megumi Hayashibara), Ami Mizuno (voiced by Ritsuko Ono), Makoto Kino (voiced by Emi Shinohara), and Minako Aino (voiced by Rika Fukumi)—to form the Sailor Scouts and battle evil. Along the way, a romantic relationship with her destined lover, Mamoru Chiba (voiced by Tetsu Inaba), blossoms quietly. This film is adapted from Naoko Takeuchi's classic manga of the same name.
