On the day of the opening of the Tozai Line subway in Tokyo, a bomb attack targeting Tokyo Governor Asakura Yuichiro erupted, resulting in the destruction of a Tozai Line train. After some reasoning, Conan (voiced by Minami Takayama) and others concluded that this was related to the construction of the Kitazawa Dam that Asakura oversaw eight years ago. In order to build the dam, Asakura mobilized the people of Kitazawa Village to move into a new village, but many still resisted until the final stage. To uncover the truth, Conan, Haibara (voiced by Megumi Hayashibara), the Junior Detective Group, and Kogorō Mouri (voiced by Rikiya Koyama) set off for the snow-covered Kitazawa. In this pristine snow country, the children enjoy themselves, while at the same time they encounter several former villagers of Kitazawa Village, including Yamao Keisuke, Endono Reiki, and Tachihara Fuyumi. They are childhood friends, but there seems to be some resentment and secrets between them. What is the truth... This film is the 15th movie in the "Detective Conan" series.
