Nanako Mizunichi (voiced by Rina Kawaei) is a passionate surfer who has a deep and sincere love for the ocean. She feels truly alive only when she is riding the waves in the midst of the storm. However, despite her confidence and bravado on the water, Nanako is a contemplative and anxious girl in her daily life, filled with uncertainty about the future. One day, she meets a firefighter named Kuchinawa Minato (voiced by Ryota Katagir), a brave and upright individual who quickly captures her attention. The two hit it off and begin a happy romance. Unfortunately, their happiness is short-lived, as a tragic accident at sea claims Minato's life. Nanako is devastated, unable to accept that the very ocean she loves has taken away the person she cherished most. One day, after being in a state of deep depression for a while, Nanako hums a song that she and Minato used to sing together. To her surprise, Minato appears before her.
