Video information
A series of misunderstandings led the baseball-savvy Kokomi Biro (voiced by Shinji Konbun) to choose a high school without a baseball team instead of attending a strong baseball school. His childhood friend and classmate, Tachibana Hero (voiced by Mitsuru Miura), went to a prestigious baseball school. Later, Biro discovered that he had been misdiagnosed with "glass hands" and couldn't play baseball, revealing that he was a victim of a quack doctor. Passionate about baseball, Biro, along with his friend Noda Atsushi (voiced by Kenichiro Tsuda), begins the arduous task of establishing a baseball team at their school. Initially, they face numerous challenges and setbacks. During this time, Biro meets the newly appointed baseball manager, Koga Haruka (voiced by Manami Suzuki), who is somewhat clumsy but dedicated. Haruka develops feelings for Biro, but he remains preoccupied with his childhood sweetheart, Amaya Yaeko (voiced by Keiko Kon), who is also Hero's girlfriend and harbors complex feelings for Biro. The intertwined emotions, the frustrations of unrequited love, and the inability to pursue certain desires are woven into a story of growth, told through the lens of baseball. This series consists of 41 episodes, but unfortunately, the animated version did not reach its intended conclusion.
