On a sunny day, Conan (voiced by Takashi Taniyama), Ran (voiced by Wakana Yamazaki), and the members of the Junior Detective League accompanied Kogorou Mouri (voiced by Rikiya Koyama) to Osaka to participate in the "High School Gomaatsu Cup" Hyakunin Isshu poetry competition held there. During the event, they also met their good friends Heiji Hattori (voiced by Ryou Horikawa) and Kazuha Farou (voiced by Yûko Miyamura). Just as the competition was underway, a bomb threat letter was delivered to the television station, prompting the police to quickly organize an evacuation. Halfway through the evacuation, an explosion suddenly occurred, leaving Heiji and Kazuha trapped inside a building. In the aftermath of the chaos, the body of a Gomaatsu Cup participant suddenly appeared before everyone. The mysterious case once again catches Conan's attention... This film is adapted from Gousho Aoyama's popular manga and is the 21st movie in the "Detective Conan" series.
