Sakura Academy was originally an all-girls high school, but under the influence of societal trends, the administration decided to open its doors to male students. In the first year, only twenty-eight boys were admitted, and they faced a daunting group of five hundred and twenty-four formidable girls. Ryurou Ajita (voiced by Jin'tarou Asanuma) was one of these twenty-eight boys, and by chance, he found himself joining the student council. The student council president, Tenjou Shino (voiced by Yoko Hikasa), had a dignified appearance but was known for her wild imagination and strong delusional tendencies. Shichou Tenkuu (voiced by Suemi Satou) was mature and reliable but occasionally spoke in surprising ways. Ogimura Suzu (voiced by Sayuri Yaotsu) had an extremely high IQ but an arrogant and childish personality. With the company of these three quirky girls, Ajita's school life officially began.
