Video information
"The Star" is just a working title and not the official name of the film. The original title of the film is "The Lamb," directed by Timothy Reckart, who was nominated for an Oscar for his animated short film "Head Over Heels." The film features a brave little donkey and his animal friends as the main characters, telling the story of the birth of Jesus from their perspective. The Jim Henson Company, known for its puppetry, will collaborate with Sony Animation to produce the film.
