Kouko Sasaki is a college student burdened with massive debts, and doctors have declared he has only two years to live. Kouko spends his days feeling despondent, and one day, while being chased by debt collectors, he falls into the sea and is rescued by a girl named Hana, who enjoys fishing, along with her fishing friends, Takumi, and others. Inspired by Hana, Kouko experiences fishing for the first time and strengthens his friendship with his fishing buddies. He begins working part-time at the convenience store where Hana and Takumi work, struggling with the difficult fishing terminology and the smell of raw fish, but gradually becomes addicted to fishing. The Atari sound on his phone is a real feeling. Life is not easy to change. What did Kouko discover through fishing?
