With the unprecedented disaster known as the "Spacequake," mysteriousGirl known as "Fairies" have appeared. Possessing overwhelming power and referred to as disasters, humanity has never ceased its efforts to combat them over the decades. The typical human response has been to eliminate them by force, or alternatively, "date them and make them blush!" By making the Fairies blush and then sealing their power through a "kiss," their power can be transformed into one's own. High school student Itsuki Shido, who possesses this ability, embarks on "dates" with the Fairies to ensure human peace and save them. Shido must suppress his powerfulSpiritual power that has drawn the Fairies into conflict, but he sometimes uses this power to protect them. Through these efforts, Shido rescues Fairies like Yatogami Tohka from crisis after crisis, gradually altering the relationship and handling methods between humans and Fairies... Meanwhile, there are also organizations using different methods from Shido's "Laharl" to confront the Fairies. The brief peace is about to be shattered, and Shido's "war (date)" is about to begin again.
