As humanity increasingly engages in large-scale space activities, the conflict between the Adjusters living on artificial satellites and the natural humans on Earth becomes increasingly sharp. On February 14, C.E. 70, known as "Bloody Valentine" by later generations, the specialized military organization "Z.A.F.T." (Zeta Astronautica Federal Theory), composed of Adjuster colonies on satellites, and the Earth Alliance forces led by the Atlantic Federation finally broke out into open conflict, sparking the brutal space war. Aslan, an Adjuster (voiced by Akira Ishida), lost his mother during "Bloody Valentine," which led him to join Z.A.F.T. and participate in a plan to seize the Earth Alliance's secretly developed high-performance mobile suit. In contrast, the Earth Alliance actively resisted. Aslan's childhood friend, the equally Adjuster Kirara (voiced by Soichiro Hoshi), was inadvertently drawn into the Earth Alliance's camp to retrieve the unseized Gundam. In this series of actions, Kirara demonstrates formidable combat prowess and, amidst the opposing forces, reunites with Aslan. The story of love and hatred, war and peace, thus begins...
