It was originally scheduled to air as the second season under the title "Musa Shi No!" starting in July 2017, but was postponed to a 2017 broadcast and streaming schedule, and then further delayed to a 2018 broadcast schedule. In tandem with this, a comic adaptation was being produced by ten selected students from the Manga Department of the Yebisu Animation Academy for several months. As of at least December 2018, the official website's listing was changed to "Scheduled for 2019 broadcast," but as of now, it has still not aired beyond 2019.
