My Street Dance Era

Video information

This is a story spanning 30 years: Over the past year, we interviewed and documented dancers from four generations, from the 1980s to the present day, connecting their stories related to street dance. From obscurity to the spotlight, where do the dancers' stories begin, and where will they lead? Through the lens, we hope to capture the process by which dancers connect with dance and explore their own identities, as the street dance wave continues to gain momentum. "My Era of Street Dance" records the heart journeys and journeys of Chinese street dancers. This documentary is jointly produced by Shanghai Qu Ku Culture and China Youth Daily.
