It is China's first drama-style historical documentary. The documentary follows the heroic figures and national destinies of the Seven Warring States: Qi, Chu, Yan, Han, Zhao, Wei, and Qin. Through a new drama-style presentation method that combines on-location reenactments and performances by skilled actors, it explores the rise and fall of the six states during the Warring States period and the deeper secrets behind the unification of the Qin Dynasty. It aims to recreate for audiences the grand historical events that took place more than 2,200 years ago.
