Air Crash Investigation (also known as Mayday or Air Emergency) is a documentary television series produced by Cineflix from Canada. It is broadcast on National Geographic and Discovery channels worldwide. The program primarily focuses on major aviation accidents that occurred after the invention of the flight data recorder in the 1970s. Currently, the eleventh season is airing, and the twelfth season is in planning. In the third season, there were three episodes that included railway and maritime accidents (these three episodes may not be categorized as part of the Air Crash Investigation series when broadcast in some regions overseas. In Taiwan, the National Geographic Channel lists these three episodes as part of the "Disaster Zone" series).
