Roving Mars is a work produced by Disney and Sassoon Film Design in collaboration, documenting the various discoveries made by the two NASA-manufactured rovers, Spirit and Opportunity, on Mars in 2004. Spirit and Opportunity landed on Mars in early and late January 2004, respectively, on opposite ends of the planet's surface. After landing, the two rovers immediately began exploring the Martian surface and transmitting the images they discovered back to Earth. Through this globally watched Mars mission, astronomers hope to uncover the mysteries of Mars, delve deeper into its secrets, and explore the enigma of potential life on Mars that has sparked much speculation.
