Steven Spielberg's production company Amblin Television has unveiled a new documentary series titled *Encounters*, which will premiere on Netflix on September 27. Directed by Yon Motskin (of *Generation Hustle*), the four-episode series focuses on four extraordinary true stories of encounters with otherworldly phenomena, all based on firsthand accounts: mysterious lights in the sky over a small town in Texas, a flying object spotted off the coast of a Welsh town, children in a Zimbabwean school meeting aliens, and reports from Japan of a non-human intelligence interfering with a nuclear power plant.
