The Island is a six-part series that focuses on unique islands around the world and the vibrant wildlife that inhabit them. In some places on Earth, the planet's forces, scarce resources, and wildlife come together in ways that are different from other places. The rules are different, and adaptation is the only way to survive and thrive. These places are islands. Each episode of the series will tell the story of two main animals on the island, highlighting the challenges they face, which are turning points in their lives or seasons, and the lives of other animals they encounter as they strive to flourish.
