Season 2 of *The Murder of Libby Smeaker: A Southern Scandal* will include first-hand accounts from those present in the days leading up to and following the murder, offering a deeper look into that fateful night. Among those featured are Blanca Turriabete-Simpson (former housekeeper for the Smeaker family) and Musheal "Shirley" Smith (Libby Smeaker's caretaker, who became one of the most influential witnesses in the trial), Curtis Edward Smith (also known as Cousin Eddie), and Gwynn Jenerette, one of the trial's jurors. Returning to the series are Paul's former girlfriend Morgan Duddy, Paul's friend Anthony Cook, and *Wall Street Journal* reporter Valerie Bauerlein.
