Video information
Produced by BBC in 2013, CCTV introduced it in 2015, and it aired on the "Nature" program from March 24 to 26. The three episodes are as follows: Episode 1, "Winds, Sand, and Stars," reveals the world's last great wilderness hidden deep in the Gulf region. For decades, its mysterious allure and enchanting scenery have remained largely unknown to the world. This documentary presents its breathtaking geological diversity and extraordinary wildlife for the first time, offering an unprecedented close-up view of a mysterious country at the intersection of three continents, showcasing its rich culture and breathtaking beauty. Episode 2, "Pearl of Arabia," uncovers a significant secret hidden in a ridge in a remote corner of southern Arabia. During the monsoon season in the Indian Ocean, the mountains of Oman's Dhofar province transform into a mysterious hidden world: waterfalls abound, mist envelops the forests, and chameleons and honey-stealing badgers can be found everywhere. Thousands of green sea turtles come ashore to lay eggs... Episode 3, "Desert Transformation," describes how, for centuries, Arabs have held camel races to celebrate special occasions. However, in the past half-century, as various changes have occurred across the Arab world, camel races have also undergone a transformation. Modern technology has been incorporated into today's camel races. To reduce the burden, riders have been replaced with remote control devices weighing no more than a laptop.
