A series of programs filmed by the National Geographic TV channel introduces the living environment and dietary habits of various prehistoric large carnivorous/scavenger animals, and discusses the possibility of their extinction, etc. The DVDs in the series include three short clips about the saber-toothed tiger, prehistoric wolves, and short-nosed bears. (Later, the National Geographic magazine channel also filmed four more short clips to introduce four other prehistoric carnivorous animals.)
