Education is a common source of anxiety for all social strata in China. Countless families have spent everything to send their children abroad, hoping that they will receive better education. As a mother of two children and a journalist who has been reporting international news for years, Zhou Yiju also feels the same anxiety. Yiju visited five countries, including Finland, Japan, India, Israel, and the UK, and finally returned to China, embarking on a journey of reflection on the philosophy of education. How does the Finnish education system, which lacks competition, teach children about success or failure? How does India, with its vast wealth gap, use online education to bridge the gap between children? How does Japan, with its strong sense of collective consciousness, help children understand the balance between the individual and the team? The film experiences the classroom from the perspective of children and feels different educational methods from the perspective of parents. It also reflects deeply on education from the perspective of the culture and history of different societies. On the journey of exploration, Yiju recalls her own childhood and undergoes a journey of re-examining herself.
