Morgan Spurlock, an ordinary American director, can undoubtedly be considered one of the craziest individuals in the country. As his child was about to be born, Morgan left his warm little home and led a group of people to the Middle East, thousands of miles away, with the goal of finding Osama bin Laden, whose whereabouts were unknown even to the FBI and CIA! In order to create a safe and free world for his child, his footprints covered Egypt, Morocco, Palestine, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq, where he engaged in conversations and inquiries with people of all kinds. For Americans, the name "Osama bin Laden" evokes fear and dread, but to many Arabs, he is just an ordinary person. During the search, Morgan seemed to gradually touch upon the points of cultural differences and estrangement between the East and the West... This film won the award for the most popular documentary at the 2008 Melbourne International Film Festival.
