A documentary about the legendary F1 driver Michael Schumacher, titled "Schumacher," is set to be released. The film is currently in post-production and reportedly has the full support of Schumacher's family. It will feature previously unseen footage and materials, interviews with his family, close racing partners, and rivals. Directed by German filmmakers Michael Wech (known for "Resistance Fighters") and Hanns-Bruno Kammertöns, Rocket Science is handling the executive production and international distribution, while DCM is responsible for the German-speaking market. The film will be showcased at the Cannes Film Festival for sales. Schumacher, who won his first World Championship 25 years ago, is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished Formula 1 drivers, being the only person to achieve seven F1 World Championships. His partnership with Ferrari left a lasting impression on many fans. After retiring in 2012, Schumacher suffered a skiing accident in 2013, sustaining brain injuries that left him in a coma for a time. Since waking up, he has been undergoing ongoing treatment.
