Two men who are as close as brothers in real life and once traveled together across China's five great wildernesses are setting out again. This time, they are on a quest to find the legendary treasures of the Tibetan Plateau's northern wilderness: wild yaks with golden manes and the ruins of the Pulan battlefield. Although they have similar travel experiences, their vastly different life backgrounds and contrasting personalities mean that, despite sharing the same goal, they have distinct travel mindsets and exploration styles. Throughout the entire expedition, the two men display a brotherly bond, supporting and helping each other to overcome difficulties. They also engage in intense arguments and refuse to compromise. Whether in harmony or conflict, these interactions reveal the true nature of humanity under extreme conditions. All the human qualities displayed, whether beautiful, positive, dark, or ugly, are undoubtedly genuine and irreplicable.
