Video information
"72 Hours" is a documentary series by NHK Japan that features interview-style reporting. Each episode selects a specific location and continuously films for 72 hours, conducting interviews with people on the scene to capture their stories and inner journeys. The program has been rated as the most satisfying by viewers for ten consecutive years. In 2018, Tencent Documentary partnered with NHK to co-produce a Chinese version of "72 Hours." After focusing on nature and food documentaries, Tencent Video shifted its attention to contemporary reality, aiming to document social scenes and create visual specimens of present-day China. The program observes and interviews people in seemingly ordinary places, revealing unexpected dramatic moments in their daily lives. The hope is to discover familiar corners in unfamiliar cities, to see oneself in others' stories, and to empathize with others.
