This documentary is the fifth installment of a documentary series directed by Michael Apted, which began filming in 1964. In 1964, Michael Apted produced the documentary "7 Up" for the BBC in the UK, interviewing fourteen seven-year-old children from different social strata in Britain. Some of them were from orphanages, while others were from upper-class families. Every seven years after that, Apted would revisit these children to listen to their dreams and discuss their lives. Now, they are all 35-year-old adults, settled in life and careers. Apted once again followed their lives, documenting whether their careers were successful and whether their love lives were fulfilling. Seven years have passed, and the marks of time have subtly appeared on everyone's faces. After another seven years, has destiny favored anyone, or has it played a cruel joke on all of us?
