The large social observation documentary *The Flowing China*, which was selected for the National Radio and Television Administration's "14th Five-Year Plan" key topics, focuses on all the Chinese people who are running and striving. If one were to paint a watercolor of today's China, then flow should be one of its underlying colors. From inland to coastal areas, from rural to urban areas, from factories to farmlands... the flowing China is constantly creating possibilities and opportunities. *The Flowing China* consists of four episodes, each with a theme—"Hometown," "Coordinates," "Answer Sheet," and "Chasing Dreams"—to showcase stories of population migration, the relationship between people and cities, the connection between people and the times, and the pursuit of personal dreams. Through in-depth, immersive filming, the documentary tells the stories of ordinary people's mobility.
