"The Coming War on China" is a documentary filmed by renowned journalist John Pilger. It premiered in British cinemas on December 5, 2016, and aired on British television station ITV on the evening of December 6. The film is approximately two hours long and is divided into four parts: "The Secret of the Marshall Islands," "The Rise of China," "U.S. Military Bases in Okinawa Facing Local Opposition," and "The U.S. Empire is Building a Ring Around China." The first part uses extensive historical materials to reveal the little-known secret of the U.S. testing of atomic bombs on the Marshall Islands during World War II. This nuclear test program, known as "Project 4.1," caused severe nuclear radiation to the local islanders, resulting in many suffering from cancer and dying without treatment. The nuclear tests also caused significant environmental pollution in the area. The second part begins with the Opium War, narrating China's gradual development and rise. The third part focuses on U.S. military bases in Okinawa, Japan, including the testing of new weapons, military exercises targeting China, and crimes such as the rape of local residents. The fourth part, titled "Empire," discusses how the U.S. is intensifying its efforts to encircle China with 400 military bases surrounding it. One interviewed U.S. general stated, "The best weapon needs the best enemy, and now China is the perfect enemy for the U.S." The documentary also mentions that the U.S. has a "Vision 2020" strategy targeting China, with military bases in the east, south, and west of China, all in an offensive posture. The U.S. holds the initiative in land, sea, air, and space domains. It states, "Obama allocated massive funds for the development of various military weapons, including nuclear weapons, and these weapons will not go unused. The war between the U.S. and China is imminent."
