The BBC production team behind the award-winning "Walking with Dinosaurs" has returned with "Walking with Beasts," taking us on a journey to explore the rise of mammals. Combining the latest scientific discoveries, advanced computer graphics, and captivating natural history stories, the series transports viewers back to a lost world, introducing them to rarely known creatures. From Earth's hottest and most humid climates to the coldest ice ages, we encounter the ancestors of whales (which walked), evade pig-like creatures as large as rhinos and carnivorous, and meet horses the size of cats, only to be eaten by birds as tall as humans! The series also includes a realistic archive of wild beasts, a photo gallery, interviews with the production team, and a comparison of storyboards. Additionally, there are two 50-minute shorts: "Beasts' Triumph" tells the story of the mammals' success, and "The Inner Beast" introduces the most distinctive aspects of humans, explaining how they evolved through adapting to life in the forest.
