After 4 billion years of evolution, Earth has become a planet rich in species, resources, and beauty, with its blue oceans covering most of its surface. However, since the emergence of humans, we have only taken 200,000 years to deplete the planet's precious resources. Rare species are becoming extinct, natural resources are dwindling, and pollution is worsening. What will happen to humanity and the Earth tomorrow? Director Yann Arthus spent 15 years preparing for this film, visiting over 50 countries to capture its footage. The film's raw material totaled 488 hours, with a shooting period of 21 months and the involvement of 88,000 staff. From the Great Barrier Reef in the waters of Australia to Mount Kilimanjaro in the highlands of Kenya, Africa; from the Amazon rainforest to the Gobi Desert; from the endless cotton fields in Texas, USA, to the industrial towns of Shanghai and Shenzhen in China. The film presents the Earth's breathtaking beauty and its increasingly precarious situation from a God-like perspective. The future is not far away, but what kind of future should we choose?
